Learning To Fly!

I am so excited today because one of my amazing friends sent me a broomstick as a gift. At first I thought it was a strange thing to send somebody as a gift but then I soon realised that my new broomstick wasn't just an ordinary broomstick at all because it floated just a little bit above the grown each time that I tried to put it down.

I honestly thought that I was hallucinating and decided that going outside for a bit of fresh air might help clear my mind but the broomstick was still floating above the ground when I came back inside. I sat down and looked at the broom for a few minutes but while I was looking at it I felt a sudden urge to try sitting on it. I guess I was expecting it to fall on the ground when I sat on it but instead it started flying around the room with me still sitting on it. I was a bit scared and held on to the broom so tightly but also I was having so much fun at the same time. I even took it outside for a bit of a fly around town but didn't fly to high because I'm still not that used to it yet.
